Disneyland Paris Set Reopen on June 17th

Fans of Disneyland Paris have a lot to celebrate today!

Disneyland Paris will be officially opening on June 17th, 2020. This will be the first time the park will be reopening almost eight months after it was forced to closed because of the Covid-19 lockdowns in France.

To celebrate the opening, Disneyland Paris released a video today announcing the resort’s reopening.

Disneyland Paris President Natacha Rafalski gave the following statement:

“We have all been dreaming of this moment, the moment we can reunite and enjoy unforgettable moments with our family and friends. When Disneyland Paris reopens, our Guests will be able to enjoy the outstanding experiences we are known for, from iconic attractions and new heart-warming Character moments to unique interactions with our Cast Members and even a few surprises along the way.”

Attendance at Disneyland Paris will be limited during the initial reopening. If you have a non-dated ticket or an Annual Pass, or plan to buy one, you will need to register on our online platform in order to ensure admission to Disneyland Paris on the date of your choice (subject to availability).

New Guest Experiences

The opening will include all the iconic attractions, Disney Characters, fan-favourite experiences and tasty treats, with even more magic thanks to new Selfie Spots and surprise appearances. Many Disney, Pixar, Star Wars Characters or Marvel Super Heroes will appear in the Parks and offer guests memorable photo opportunities. From unexpected appearances to new Selfie Spots, there’s never been a better time to see beloved Characters. Close interactions, including hugs, will be temporarily suspended.

Walt Disney Studios Park, Disney’s Newport Bay Club, and Disney Village. Disney’s Hotel Cheyenne will reopen on July 1st. Additionally, Disney’s Davy Crockett Ranch will reopen on July 13th. It is still unknown when Disney’s Hotel Santa Fe and Disney’s Sequoia Lodge will reopen.

Health and Safety Measures

There will also be enhanced health and safety measures at Disneyland Paris. In order to respect the physical distancing recommended by health authorities, a limited number of entrances to the Parks are available each day. All visitors aged 6 years and over, Cast Members and service providers are required to wear a mask.

Physical distancing will be implemented throughout the resort in queues, ride vehicles, shops, hotels, restaurants and other facilities, and signage will be displayed as a reminder. For more information on all of Disneyland Paris health and safety measure visit here.
