With more and more guests getting ready to visit Walt Disney World this summer, it shouldn’t come as a surprise to anyone that the theme parks are opening up more of their restaurants. In fact, a new report says that the popular Casey’s Corner is preparing for reopening at the Magic Kingdom this summer. Here’s what you need to know.
Magic Kingdom Update: Casey’s Corner Reopening This Summer
If there’s anything that Disney fans love the most about the parks, it’s all of the great food! In fact, many call it a foodie paradise with its grand selection of adventure tastes and treats. Some eagle-eyed fans noticed that Casey’s Corner will soon be back in business at its quick-service location. Guests noticed that after 15 months, the windows were uncovered and that there was staff cleaning the interior from within.
As many fans know, quite a few of the restaurants and quick-service locations at Walt Disney World have remained closed ever since the pandemic that has been the coronavirus hit back during the first quarter of 2020. In order to keep guests both healthy and safe from Covid-19, Disney has been doing everything they can to ensure that visitors are kept socially distant from Cast Members while still providing the magical experience that one would expect from the parks. But now that more and more people are getting vaccinated, more and more shops and restaurants are reopening, much to the delight of visitors from everywhere. It also means there will be less of a wait time for your next Disney meal!
Meanwhile, another report says that another popular location within the Magic Kingdom, The Plaza Restaurant, just got a major menu upgrade. Their regular menu includes deli-style sandwiches, mouth-watering burgers, and decadent desserts. But now the restaurant has added even more choices, including more appetizers and entrees, including a wedge salad and loaded fries and even seared crab cakes and chili.
