If it’s been a long time since you’ve been on a cruise, we’ve got some good news for you. Norwegian Cruise Line is launching their “biggest sale ever,” while also opening the largest number of itineraries for purchase. That’s right – you’ve got even more choices when it comes to where you want to spend your next trip on the high seas, and with great prices, too. Here’s what you need to know.
Here’s What You Need To About Norwegian Cruise Line’s “Biggest Sale Ever”
According to reports, the cruise line will offer anyone who books a trip 70 percent off – yes you read that correctly – a second guest fare as well as access to seven other free offers: free open bar, free specialty dining, free shore excursion credits, free Wi-Fi, discounted rates for friends and family, free roundtrip airfare for the second guest, and a $250 CruiseFirst certificate to use towards a future cruise.
The sale — which even more epic perks — is valid on all departures, including the recently released 2024 cruises.
Meanwhile, The Norwegian Escape is set to depart from the port Saturday afternoon on a seven-day cruise to the Caribbean from Port Canaveral, Florida this week. It will be the first sailing since the start of the pandemic. The company has recently resumed cruising after a year and a half and, unlike many other US-based lines, has enforced a strict vaccine mandate for all guests.
After the line set sail from Miami on August 15, 2021, for the first time since the Covid induced sail ban, they were legally able to ask every embarking cruiser for their ‘vaccine passport’. Now NCL is looking to continue this vaccination proof mandate until the very end of 2021, and possibly into 2022.

Not such a big deal. They’ve been offering 30% off (70% off the second occupant is essentially 35% off each passenger) forever, along with the ‘free at sea’ perks. But they’ve been steadily raising the prices. I first booked in 2019 for 2020, again in 2021, and now for 2022. EVen with their special sale, I’d be paying almost 2000 more pp for the same room category!
