More Walt Disney World Hotels are Opening!
Disney’ Boardwalk Inn is joining a long line of Disney hotels opening their doors back up this summer and welcoming guests back in! While The Villas at Disney’s Boardwalk have been open to Disney Vacation Club guests since June 2020, the Boardwalk Inn remained shuttered. Come July 2, that will all change! Better yet, this turn-of-the-century, Atlantic City inspired waterfront resort hotel is already open for bookings.
If the state-of-the-art fitness center and Luna Park Pool with dive-in movies under the stars aren’t enough to entice, the carnival games and exciting nightlife on the Coney Island-style boardwalk overlooking Crescent Lake might get you booking in for your next Walt Disney World stay.

Disney’s Boardwalk Inn offers seemingly endless dining/sharing a beverage choices like Trattoria al Forno, Boardwalk Joe’s Marvelous Margaritas, Pizza Window, Leaping Horse Libations, Jellyrolls, Belle Vue Lounge, ESPN Club, AbracadaBar, Big River Grille & Brewing Works and Boardwalk Bakery- which offers mobile ordering with the My Disney Experience app for those looking to skip the line.
Please note that not all of these food and beverage outlets are currently open, but this is likely to change once the Boardwalk Inn opens alongside the currently open Villas. Please also note that due to Covid safety restrictions, character dining- usually offered at Trattoria al Forno- is also currently suspended.
While Disney’s Boardwalk Inn and The Villas at Disney’s Boardwalk are both in walking distance of Epcot and Disney’s Hollywood Studios there are several other transportation options. Take the bus to Magic Kingdom, Disney’s Animal Kingdom theme park and the Disney Springs area or transfer to Disney’s Blizzard Beach water park via Animal Kingdom.
The Disney Skyliner aerial gondolas are available to Disney’s Hollywood Studios and watercraft transportation is available, so, for something a little different, why not take a boat to Epcot, Disney’s Hollywood Studios, Disney’s Beach Club Villas or Disney’s Yacht Club Resort!
