Face Masks to Become Optional Starting June 15th at Walt Disney World

Walt Disney World Could Go Maskless By FridayDisclaimer: Posts may contain affiliate links that help support The Go To Family website.

Things are going to start looking a little more normal at Walt Disney World! Beginning June 15th, face coverings/masks will become optional for fully vaccinated guests in most areas of Walt Disney World Resort.

There is an exception to the new policy. Guests will still be required to wearing face covers on Disney transportation, including Disney buses, monorails, and the Disney Skyliner. However, they will not be required on boats and ferries.

Walt Disney World will not be asking for vaccination proof, and the maskless policy will be honor-based.

At the moment, guests are not required to wear masking in most outdoor locations. Physical distancing requirements are also continually being reduced.

What do you think of Walt Disney World’s change in mask policy? Does this make you more or less likely to book a trip?
