Don’t you just hate it whenever you book a vacation at a popular resort just to find out the moment that you get there that the pool is closed due to renovations? It’s happened to the best of us. Walt Disney World must be one company that knows just how painful that feeling is (especially during those hot and humid summer months in Florida), as the company is giving everyone a heads up about two resort pools that will be closed because of refurbishment. Here’s what you need to know.
Walt Disney World Update: Two Resort Pools Closing For Refurbishment
According to reports, the bad news is that two Walt Disney World will be closed for refurbishment. The good news is that you don’t have to worry about it anytime soon as the closures won’t happen until at least 2023. The two pools are The Contemporary Feature Pool at Disney’s Contemporary Resort and the Meadow Swimmin’ Pool at Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground. The first will be unavailable in winter 2023 while it undergoes maintenance work while the second will be unavailable beginning January through April 2023 while it undergoes maintenance work.
In other Walt Disney World resort news, the Walt Disney World Swan Reserve has pushed back its opening date. The hotel will open its doors to guests beginning September 30th. Initially, the hotel was supposed to open on September 1st.
