Ahoy Mateys! Today we're giving you a tour of the new Legoland Pirate Island Hotel. Located in Winter Haven Florida (not far from Orlando), the Legoland Pirate Island Hotel opened in 2021 and joins its sister hotel the Legoland Florida Hotel (which we also tour). Families vacation like a pirate with the incredibly themed pirate rooms (probably the best we've seen at any resort) with an in-room treasure hunt for young pirates, a pirate pool, and a ShipWreck Restaurant. There are also a lot of pirate-themed activities kids can partake in after a fun day at LEGOLAND Florida theme park.

In today's vlog, we take you to Walt Disney World's Swan Resort for a full tour of the hotel. The Swan Hotel at Disney World is located between Epcot and Disney's Hollywood Studios in the Walt Disney World Resort in Bay Lake, Florida. Directly across is its sister resort, the Walt Disney World Dolphin. In this 2021 Disney Resort tour, we take you to the lobby, shop, and dining offered at the Swan Resort. Walt Disney World Swan Resort Tour - Should You Stay at this Disney Hotel in 2021?

In Today's Vlog, we go on a $5000 VIP Tour of Walt Disney World. This private VIP Tour is a once in lifetime must-do Disney experience! VIP guests are able to skip all lines to the rides while being escorted by a special guide around the Disney parks. You even get to go backstage to enter some rides and to transfer between parks during the tour. We loved the experience and would definitely do a VIP Tour again if we had the money.
How does a VIP Disney Tour Work in 2021? Disney VIP Tour Cost?
VIP Tours can be booked 60 days in advance and can accommodate up to 10 guests the price varies depending on the time of the year. You choose where to meet your guide, we decided to meet at the Magic Kingdom in Walt Disney World. You can tell your guide what rides you’re interested in and she or he takes you around. During your VIP tour, you set the pace. You can go as fast as you want or slow as you want. Your VIP guide can also ride attractions, which can come in handy if you have an odd number of people. Our daughters loved riding with our guide.
How Many Rides Can you Do During a VIP Disney Tour?
That really depends on you and your group's specific needs. We traveled with three children, so we took our time a little more than a group of adults would. We managed to ride 15 rides at Magic Kingdom and Hollywood during our 7 hour Disney World VIP Tour.
Is a VIP Disney Tour Worth it?
That really depends on you! If you have the money then the VIP Tour experience is definitely worth it. It's truly a magical experience to experience the parks without waiting in one line and riding some many attractions in one day. Your guide is also a "Disney" expert and will give you lots of information and insight about the parks not everyone knows. The price is steep, but can be brought down to a more reasonable rate if you split the cost with other people.

We Went on a $5000 Disney World VIP Tour - 15 Rides in 7 Hours! Was it Worth It?

Join us on a unique dining experience at RumFish Grill in St Pete Beach, Florida. The restaurant’s main attraction is a 33,500-gallon aquarium built by Animal Planet’s hit series TANKED, which encompasses an entire wall of the dining room. Some of the inhabitants of the aquarium include tropical fish, an eel, and even a stingray or two. We enjoyed seafood dishes that included a huge oyster plater, Florida ceviche, the ahi tuna, and scallops. For dessert, we had the amazing lava cake dish.

In this vlog, we dine at Yak & Yeti at Disney's Animal Kingdom. Located in the Asia area of Animal Kingdom, Yak & Yeti Restaurant serves up delicious pan-Asian food in a beautiful setting. In this 2021 Disney dining review, we try the Pork Pot Stickers, Firecracker Shrimp, and the Kobe Beef Burger. Yaki & Yeti is definitely not to be missed when visiting Walt Disney World and in our opinion is the best restaurant in Animal kingdom.

We travel a lot but don’t vacation a lot if that makes sense? 🤷‍♀️ I work and Daniel even more so while we’re on the road. Generally, he clocks full hours and many of those being late at night because we film 🎥 during the days. It’s how we make our travels possible, so it’s definitely worth it!
When we visited The Somerset on Grace Bay though we decided a more traditional holiday (even though we still had to work at little 😄 The girls loved spending some extra time with daddy by sharing some silly laughs on the resort bikes, splashing in the pool and playing in the sand.
It was nice to have a week to just relax together. ❤️Honestly, I can’t think of better resort to ‘reconnect’ as a family. It’s so quiet and it quickly feels like a new home far away from everyday life.

No getaway to Turks and Caicos is complete without a stay on Grace Bay Beach. There’s a reason why it’s ranked the world’s nicest beach year after year!
The white sand is powdery soft and the kids say it feels like walking on marshmallows. 😄 Its truly one of the most tranquil beaches with its warm turquoise water that slowly laps back and forth.
In our opinion, The Somerset on Grace Bay has one of the nicest stretches of Beach. We love that it’s a small boutique resort so the beach is never too busy and there’s plenty of water sports equipment to enjoy.
It’s definitely easier to decompress from everyday life and reconnect as a family in such a tranquil destination.

One thing we love about Turks and Caicos is that you can rent a car and travel around Provo while staying at A#a resort. It’s safe and their are lots of things to do.
While staying at The Somerset on Grace Bay, we visited Da Conch Shack. It’s a fun spot to grab lunch on the beach, try conch and search for the perfect shell to take home. If you don’t want to go through the trouble of cleaning out your conch shell there are also vendors that sell them cleaned and polished.

I can’t take these kids anywhere. 😂
The Somerset on Grace Bay probably has the most chill pool area I have ever seen, but then you put our family in the mix and that all changes! 😜
Kidding aside, despite the tranquil serene vibe The Somerset exudes it is an incredibly family-friendly place. You will see a mix of kids splashing and others who are simply there to unwind in paradise. There’s never too many people and I love that finding a chair is never a worry.

This is our second time staying at The Somerset and we’ve have made some very special memories here. It’s hard to believe I was pregnant with Ella and Rose the first time and now they’re five year old’s!!

You gotta love a dad that doesn’t take himself too seriously. Daniel will literally do anything to make the girls happy even if it makes him look a little silly in the process. 🤪 Ava insisted he wear this funny ‘I have been Chosen’ cap from Toy Story and the girls picked out The Little Mermaid’s Sebastian dress shirt. He definitely turned heads on the bus to Disney Springs for dinner. 🤣 He wore it proudly though knowing it made the girls happy. 🥰

Little Ella loves any activity that keeps her creative juices flowing. If there is some sort of craft and arts program at a resort we’re staying it’s probably one of the first activities we check out.
During our getaway to the TradeWinds Island Grand Resort, she loved the daily activities they offer to resort guests. Her favorite was painting this cute little caterpillar 🐛 ceramic that we carried all the way back home.

It felt great to unwind and reconnect as a family during our recent trip to TradeWinds Island Grand Resort on St Pete’s Beach. Like other families dealing with these new times and the uncertainty of the last year brought a lot of stress for us. So, it was great to let the kids just big kids while enjoying the beach, making crafts and paddling around the resort’s little lake. We definitely felt a little closer and ready to take on this next year after our little getaway.

We have done a lot of family activities in our travels but oddly enough we had never tried mini golf till our stay TradeWinds Island Grand resort. 🤷‍♀️
We had a blast but I wouldn’t say our game resembled anything close to mini golf. Ella and Rose basically ran from green to green and dumping the ball in the hole with their hand. 🤦‍♀️I guess it’s the effort that counts? 😝 It was definitely a memorable family activity.

We visit Florida frequently, but we had never ventured to the Gulf Coast till our recent trip this summer. We visited the beautiful St. Pete Beach while staying at TradeWinds Island Grand resort. We loved that the property is located right on St. Pete Beach and had its own private area. We had the perfect oceanfront loungers to #justletgo while the kids played in the sand after swimming in the blue water as a family.

We tried the best for a picture at the Animal Kingdom ( our favourite park) but the weather was crazzzzy hot. We love the heat but we even begin to melt when it’s 104 degrees. 😆 Despite this, we tried our best to enjoy our day. We took plenty of shade breaks and enjoyed a few drinks at Dawa Bar. The drinks are amazing there by the way. 🤫

We have visited Disney Spring more times than I can count but have never stopped in The Coca-Cola store. 💁‍♀️ A reason for that might be because I’m not the hugest fan of carbonated drinks so soft drinks have never really been my thing. 🤷‍♀️ I’ve heard great things about the rooftop beverage bar though so on our recent trip I decided I should keep an open mind and try it out.
I learned two things on our visit - one, I'm still not a fan of of soft drinks 😂 and two, despite that, I still think our visit was a fun experience. You can taste coke products or soft drinks from all around the world. It’s a a fun experience to try the different types of flavors from different countries. Some of them are really wacky. 🤪 It's kinda like it's own drinking around the world experience. The beverage shop is also on top floor of the Coca-Cola Store so you get a great view of Disney Springs. 🤫

Our family is a big fan of Gideon’s Bakehouse at Disney Springs. Each cookie tops 1 pound and are definitely best shared! We love the classic chocolate chip and the peanut butter cookie best.
Believe it or not, but the wait for their cookies 🍪 can top 8 hours during the busiest times at Walt Disney World. Crazy right? Thankfully, they have a virtual line so you don’t have to wait a whole day in line. 😆

I tend to be a Disney traditionalist when it comes to rides. My favourite attraction park is always Magic Kingdom for that reason. However, there is one exception to this and the whole family seems to agree. We love Mickey and Minnie’s Runaway Railway. I swear we could ride it over and over again. 😝 We love everything about it from the pre-show to the trackless tango dancing with Daisy.

The best getaways are the ones that you get to spend with grandma. ❤️
We’re usually far away from home during the summers so we don’t usually see family for about two months. So, our trip was extra special when grandma flew down to Florida to join us while we were at Walt Disney World. The kids had a blast with grandma while mom and dad got a little rest. 😆

There's nothing like a pool day after a crazy day at the parks!
The kids had had a blast soaking up the sun and playing in the kid water zone area at the Wyndham Lake Buena Vista. They must have sat under the bucket a million times. 😆
