Carnival is sending out a video reminder to its avid and future cruisers as the line begins to ready itself for sailing for the first time in over 15 months.
The “Can You Feel It?” video series will highlight cruiser’s favorite parts of cruising onboard the fun ships, showcasing everything from the gut-busting food, intoxicating cocktails, world renowned entertainment, onboard rides and adventures and more.
Filmed at Carnival Studios in Florida, the first mouth-watering video features Senior Chef Roshan D’Souza, whetting viewers appetites while preparing Carnival’s exceedingly popular Spaghetti Carbonara, one of the most oft ordered dishes in the Cucina del Capitano family-style Italian restaurants.
No stranger to demonstrations, Chef D’Souza has shown off his Green Eggs and Ham cooking skills for many charity events with Carnival Cruise Line. However, Chef D’Souzais not the only star of these videos.
New content will be shared weekly on Carnival’s social media channels: Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and Tik-Tok. Eventually videos will be added to the carnival.com website as the unofficial countdown to operational start-up begins.
Upcoming videos will allow Vice President of Beverage Operations, Edward Allen to show off his mixology skills, reminding guests of the libations that will soon be able to indulge in again when visiting the onboard Alchemy Bar, RedFrog Pub and other shipboard bars and restaurants. The line’s top comedians will also re-sharpen their skills with mini-performances as they, too, prepare for sailing audiences once more.
“As we get closer to resuming service, we wanted to remind our fans, as well as those who have yet to sail with us, of all the fun and excitement that takes place on board each and every day,” said Jayne Andrews, senior director – brand and advertising. “These videos were so much fun to make and really got our team excited about bringing these activities to life on board and creating wonderful vacation memories for our guests.”
With cruises set, but not confirmed to start sailing again July, future and return cruisers are chomping at the bit to clamor back on board. Until we get the 100% go ahead from the CDC, enjoy the ‘Can You Feel It’ series here.
