Walt Disney World has just announced that bookings will finally be accepted for their four very last hotels to reopen after the pandemic shut down brought the Disney World resort to a halt.
Starting tomorrow, July 8, 2021 guests for Disney’s All-Star Music and Sports Resorts and Disney’s Port Orleans- Riverside and French Quarter will be able to snap up rooms for future stays.
Disney’s All-Star Music Resort is the first to open. Guests can start booking tomorrow for arrivals beginning on September 16. Recently refurbished in late 2018 and stretching into early 2019, this budget-conscious hotel is expected to be booked out QUICKLY!
Disney’s Port Orleans Resort – Riverside will be the next to open its doors on October 14. Currently undergoing refurbishment, it was not expected for the hotel to be ready until after the fall, so the mid-October opening is a nice surprise for fans of the Riverside resort.
Disney’s Port Orleans Resort – French Quarter will have its construction finished and cleaned up, ready to go for guests to arrive on October 28…just in time for the Halloween Boo Bash.
Finally, the very last Walt Disney World Resort hotel to open back up to guests again will be Disney’s All-Star Sports Resort. As of December 9th, all three of the All-Star resorts will be back in business.
It has been a long road for Disney to bring all of its properties back online after the pandemic hiatus, but it seems the need is there again, with guests flocking back to the four parks in droves.
Capacity also keeps upping in the parks with more reservations for each park becoming available weekly. The much-hyped Disney World 50th Anniversary celebration will begin in September, only doubling or trebling interest in visits.
Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort has 11 days left until it opens up (on July 19). On August 26 will see Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge and Disney’s Animal Kingdom Villas – Jambo House reopen as well.
