Drawn to Life is the newest Disney Cirque du Soleil show preparing to wow audiences at Disney Springs, with a vague but promising premiere date of “this fall.”
Cirque du Soleil is Back
While the Covid shutdowns pushed Cirque du Soleil into bankruptcy protection, the company is bouncing back by relaunching its two longest-running live Vegas shows, “Mystère” and “O,” in time for the 4th of July weekend.
Now Cirque and Disney’s “Drawn to Life,” the collaboration that was set to replace La Nouba at Disney Springs last year is aiming to join it’s Vegas based sisters in the fall of 2021, though no set date has been announced yet.
Fall 2021 is going to be a golden time for entertainment at Walt Disney World Resort. The 50th Anniversary celebration of the Magic Kingdom Theme Park will be kicking off in the fall. Already Cinderella’s Castle is getting her makeover to be ready in time for the year-long fiesta!
While guests are clamoring to be a part of the 50th anniversary event, they should most definitely stop by the a free-standing white tent theatre to watch Cirque and Disney’s breathtaking tribute to Disney animation.
What is Drawn to Life About?
Drawn to Life is said be a story about the love between a father- Tom, a Disney animator and his courageous and determined daughter, Julie.
An unfinished piece of animation, along with a letter from her late father, sparks Julie’s imagination. As she embarks on a magical journey into the wonderful world of animation, the Disney animated characters who played important roles in Julie’s childhood are drawn to life.
Audiences are promised to be mesmerized by Cirque du Soleil’s acrobatic mastery and delighted to see their favorite, along with some new (soon to become favorite) Disney faces.
