Epcot wants you to hang out just a little bit longer this summer. There’s a new report that says the theme park within Walt Disney World is extending its summer hours, as they expect more and more guests to visit in the coming weeks and months as travel is finally picking up again. Walt Disney World Covid-19 Travel News: Epcot Extending Summer Park Hours
Reports say that instead of closing at 9pm, the park will close at 10pm. According to some pretty huge Disney fans, the extra hours means that it will give guests 57 more hours to enjoy all things Epcot this summer. There’s also a possibility that Epcot might be the only theme park this summer that brings back nighttime entertainment.
Summer Park Hours For Other Parks
Meanwhile, there will be some modifications made to Disney’s theme parks schedule this summer. The Magic Kingdom is currently scheduled to be open 9:00 AM to 9:00 PM from June 27 through July 3 while Epcot is scheduled to open at 11:00 AM and close at 9:00 PM from June 27 through July 3.
Elsewhere, Disney’s Hollywood Studios is scheduled to open at 9:00 AM and close at 7:00 PM from June 27 through July 3 and Disney’s Animal Kingdom is scheduled to open at 8:00 AM daily from June 27 through July 3. It’s been noted that the Animal Kingdom will close at 5:00 PM on Sunday, June 27 and 6:00 PM the rest of the week.
