Walt Disney World Resort has a set plan to have all of its hotels reopened before the end of 2021. With that comes the hotel and resort restaurants swinging open their doors to welcome guests back in.
While it is only a rumor for now, an exciting new development has tongues wagging that the Yachtsman Steakhouse fine dining restaurant staff at Disney’s Yacht Club Resort are pressing the linens and polishing the silverware.
Whispers of an August 5 reopening of the restaurant grew louder as Yachtsman Steakhouse chefs reportedly returned to work this week! If August 5th is the magical date, it will mean the restaurant has laid empty for almost a year and a half.
Sounds like a lot of polishing and pressing!
Over at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge it’s looking to be a late August reopening for Boma – Flavors of Africa and Victoria Falls Lounge while Jiko – The Cooking Place is reportedly throwing out the welcome mat again in late September.
If you are planning to dine at a table-service restaurant in a Disney Resort hotel it is highly recommended you use the My Disney Experience App to see which restaurants are currently open, what their current Covid rules are and to make a reservation. Online reservations can be made up to 60 days in advance and a confirmed dining reservation is required for day Guests (those not staying overnight). A reservation is highly recommended for Guests staying overnight at a Disney Resort hotel, also.
