Hawaii’s Entry Requirements For International Visitors Announced

Maui Mayor Doesn’t Want Guests Traveling To Hawaii This Summer

At long last (some) international visitors will be welcomed back into the US next week, including the Aloha State- Hawaii.

With the “re-opening” date of November 8 coming up very quickly, Hawaii’s Governor, David Ige has shared updates on the state’s entry requirements along with the easing of restrictions for outdoor activities.

Here’s what you need to know.

All international arrivals will need to show proof of vaccine. All vaccines approved or authorized by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration and vaccines listed for emergency use by the World Health Organization will be accepted by Hawaii. The traveler must also have a negative PCR taken no later than 72 hours prior to travel.
