Formerly Wet ‘n Wild, Ventura Park is the only adventure park in Cancun’s Hotel Zone. The park has several “worlds,” including Underworld, Dolphinaris, Grand Prix, Fun World, Aaaahventure and Wet ‘n Wild.
3. Captain Hook Pirate Dinner Cruise
This option is a whole load of fun for the family as you set sail on a replica of an 18th-century Spanish Galleon. The tour leaves at 6:30 pm every evening from the bridge in the Hotel Zone. First of all, the family is greeted by their friendly pirate hosts and treated to drinks, games and pirate silliness. It is then time for dinner before the family heads up to the deck and notice something is going on. It turns out there is another pirate ship about to do battle with yours! The ship heads back to dock at 10:30 pm, all safe and sound.

It started out as a crocodile breeding farm, but after it was destroyed in 1988 by Hurricane Gilberto, its mission changed. These days, their aim is to protect and promote crocodiles. On a tour of the zoo, the family can learn about local flora and fauna. Meanwhile, the highlight for the kids is to feed the cute spider monkeys, meet other animals up close and personal, or hold a baby crocodile.
