Amorette's Patisserie's New Haunted Mansion Petit Cake Is a Must-Try Halloween Treat

Amorette’s Patisserie in Disney Springs is sharing their newest delight just in time for Halloween and Walt Disney World’s Boo Bash.

Combine chocolate and purple-dyed vanilla chiffon cake with chocolate brownie and diplomat cream, layer it with candy-coated chocolate pieces and chocolate chips and wrap it with dark purple and black fondant.

Sounds like you might be on to something special.

Now decorate the top of the cake with the Haunted Mansion Logo and the black ribbon detailed sides with bats and ghouls. Next, you’ll add three ghostly hitchhikers having the time of their liv…err…deaths in a Haunted Mansion Doom Buggy and you have the latest of the seasonal ‘petits gateaux’ offerings from Amorette’s: The Haunted Mansion Petit Cake.

This chocolate lover’s dream is but one of the sweet morsels to be found at the Disney Springs high-end patisserie showcasing what can only be described as works of art.

Yet one of the best things (in my humble opinion) about Amorette’s, which is French for “little love”, is that guests can pair their favorite sweet dessert or savory crêpes, croissants or focaccia sandwiches with a glass (or bottle) of bubbly–both sparkling wine or ‘the real French deal’

The Haunted Mansion Petit Cake, available now for $22.00 won’t be around for long, unlike its namesake attraction which has been a Disney staple in Disneyland since 1969, and Walt Disney World’s Magic Kingdom since 1971. The Haunted Mansion also appears at Tokyo Disney and at Disneyland Paris as Phantom Manor and at Hong Kong Disneyland as Mystic Manor

Already spawning an Eddie Murphy helmed the movie, a reboot starring Tiffany Haddish, who recently revealed she is mid-costume-fitting, is currently in the works. Now there are whispers that the fan-favorite ride will be spawning a Haunted Mansion television series for the Disney+ streaming platform!
