Gordon Ramsay set to Open New Casual Restaurant

The British are coming to Icon Park in Orlando in the most delicious of ways! Gordon Ramsay is slated to be opening the “fast-casual” Fish & Chips restaurant this August.

Orlando is already slated to be one of America’s most visited spots this summer with dozens more flights being added to international and domestic airlines weekly. And it’s not just Disney World or Universal Studios these guests will flock to.

Already appealing to U.K. guests, Icon Park with it’s Observation Wheel reminiscent of the London Eye, Fish & Chips will prove to be popular for Brits longing for a taste of home, and American and other international guests trusting the Ramsay name to teach them what all the fuss is about.

“It was a real tradition for me growing up, so I’m excited to bring that nostalgia from my youth to Orlando,” Chef Ramsay said of the first foray out of Las Vegas for the chain.

The 30-seat indoor/outdoor seating venue will be casual dining, reminiscent of a London chippie, with a menu as authentic. The menu headliner (you guessed it) fish and chips will be sustainable True Cod coated in a golden, crispy custard powder batter with a side of chips -thick cut fries- sprinkled with sea salt. Other menu favorites include marinated shrimp, chicken or sausages.

Not a carnivore? The chips can be meals of their own when topped with truffle, parmesan and chives or chipotle and jalapeños.

Desserts will on offer, all with a British flare, of course- be sure to try the Sticky Toffee Pudding!

With the concept art for the Icon Park location showing the same British red phonebooth doors like the current Fish & Chips restaurant at Caesar’s Palace in Vegas, we can’t wait to see what U.K. delights will be waiting for us inside.
