Here’s What You Need To Know About Club Med Québec Charlevoix
According to reports, Club Med is opening its first inclusive resort in Canada. Located at the existing ski area Le Massif de Charlevoix, the new Club Med Québec will be a four-season, all-inclusive mountain resort set on 300 plus acres with dramatic views of the St. Lawrence River.
The new Club Med resort will offer an all-inclusive package that covers accommodations, unlimited meals and beverages. The all-inclusive approach provides guests with accommodations, lift tickets, group ski and snowboard lessons, dedicated children’s clubs and all-day dining. If that weren’t enough, other activities will include ice skating, dog sledding, cycling and hiking and even whale watching!
But before you book your ticket to Canada, there are a few things you’ll need to keep in mind. The federal government announced a mandatory vaccination for travel to Canada, which will come into effect beginning October 30th. On that date, everyone age 12 and older will need to provide proof of full vaccination to travel departing from Canadian airports, on VIA Rail and Rocky Mountaineer trains. In addition, marine passengers on non-essential passengers will be required to be fully vaccinated.
Back in September, the State Department had re-categorized travel advisories from Level 2 — “exercise increased caution” — to Level 3 — “reconsider travel” — due to “a high level of COVID-19 in the country. U.S. officials are asking travelers to avoid all kinds of trips to Canada – both essential and non-essential – if they’re unvaccinated.
