The Celebrity Equinox is the newest ship to be approved by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) to set sail from the US once more!
The Equinox is now the eleventh ship within Celebrity’s fleet of 14 that will be sailing in the coming months, but only the third slated to call a US port home.
Celebrity’s first ship to sail in over a year, the Celebrity Millennium set sail this past Saturday- June 5th from St Maarten to rave reviews from excited and even emotional passengers.
The first ship of any line to leave from a US port with paying guests on board will be the Celebrity Edge. The Edge is slated to sail with 95% vaccinated guests and a 100% vaccinated crew from Fort Lauderdale on June 26, 2021.
While the revolutionized Celebrity Equinox will be the next Celebrity ships to sail from the US, other Celebrity ships are ready to stand up across the globe.
After almost two months of sailings from St Maarten, the Celebrity Millennium will reposition to Seattle to sail seven-night Alaska cruises. This will begin on July 23 and complete the three US port departures.
The recently refurbished Celebrity Summit, originally slated to sail the Alaskan season will sail the remaining St. Maarten season through August.
The Celebrity Apex will be soon be sailing, with seven-night Greek Island itineraries, as of June 19.
The Celebrity Silhouette is up next, sailing the UK coastline as of July 3 with UK guests only.
Celebrity Expedition ships Flora, Xpedition and Xploration will return to the Galapagos islands on July 3, July 24, and September 18, respectively.
The Celebrity Infinty will be joining it’s sisters on August 2 sailing the Mediterranean while the Reflection is set to begin sailing in the Baltic as of August 11.
