The Disney Wish may not take her inaugural cruise until June 2022, but each new feature unveiled generates more and more excitement about the fifth and most enchanting ship of the young fleet.
This week Disney showed previews of the new Wish staterooms, including the Concierge Staterooms and Suites. With furnishings inspired by hit, heroine-centric animated films, the concierge staterooms and suites range from Tangled inspired veranda suites to Little Mermaid themed staterooms located just above the ships bridge, offering spectacular views through the floor to ceiling windows to the deck 13 two-story Princess Aurora and Briar Rose Royal Suites.
But the grand dame, first-of-its-kind accommodation offered on the Disney Wish is the Moana inspired Concierge Wish Tower Suite.
This spectacular suite is located high above the upper decks, within the ships funnel. With a special private elevator entrance, the Wish Tower’s guests will luxuriate in style in the double-story living room floor-to-ceiling glass windows to taking in sweeping ocean views and those of the sun deck below them.
The 1,966 square foot Wish Tower Suite sleeps eight and consists of two main bedrooms with walk in wardrobes, a library/third bedroom and a fourth children’s bedroom featuring built-in bunkbeds with constellations of Moana’s oar, Gramma Tala, Maui’s hook and the heart of Te Fiti lighting up the ceiling. All bedrooms have a flat screen television.
No need to argue over bathrooms, there are 4 and a half of them in the suite with stand alone tubs and walk in rain showers.
A grand staircase spirals down, around a huge chandelier that lights up the double story living space where you’ll find a fifth television. The open dining area has an attached pantry and wet bar stocked with water and sodas.
Guests of all the Concierge Suites and Staterooms enjoy an expanded range of offerings including complimentary wi-fi and plush robes and slippers for the duration of their cruise.
Pre and throughout cruising the concierge service can be used to book shore excursions and make spa or restaurant etc. reservations. Also included in a voyage when booking a concierge stateroom or suite are dedicated and exclusive areas like the Concierge Lounge, a stylish retreat for guests to relax and sip on a cocktail in comfort.
Concierge guests also have access to a private sun deck on Deck 13 Forward. with 2 whirlpools, a wading pool, lounge chairs, a fully stocked bar and a pool deck host to cater to your every whim.
